American rapper 50 Cent, born Curtis James Jackson III, expressed his support for President Trump on Instagram. This was reportedly after seeing figures related to former Vice President Joe Biden’s proposed tax plan, Fox News reported.

On Monday, he posted a photo of a TV screen showing the top tax rates in California, New Jersey, New York State, and New York City for Americans earning more than $400,000 a year, in reference to the tax plan that the Biden Administration proposed.

The broadcast mentioned that New York would be taxed at a rate of 58% while New York City would be taxed at 62%.

“WHAT THE FCK! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT, FCK NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway,” 50 Cent wrote on social media. “I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f—ing mind.”

Some followers pointed out that the numbers only applied to “rich people.” 50 Cent later shared another post, appearing to boast about his wealth.

“I just remembered i’m bankrupt, so i’m looking for a gracious loan can anyone help a brother out. LOL,” he wrote.

According to Billboard, 50 Cent has previously rejected supporting Trump’s presidential campaign. He told James Corden last year that he turned down the president’s $500,000 offer to come to his 2016 inauguration.

However, in July, “he saluted the President's unapologetic demeanor and cited him as the reason he chooses to follow his blueprint,” Billboard reported.
