President Trump Gives Generous Offering During Church Service in Las Vegas
While attending church services in Las Vegas on Sunday, President Trump reportedly made a generous offering to the collection bucket.
The president was in Nevada, a crucial battleground state, on a campaign trip. There, Trump attended a service at the International Church of Las Vegas before a campaign event in Carson City that day, reported Fox News.
During collection, the president reached into his back pocket and pulled out several $20 bills. He placed the bills into a bucket that people passed around.

Fox News explained that his trip to Nevada “comes as political strategists say Nevada is still in play for the GOP, despite going to the Democrats in every election since 2004 and the party flipping a U.S. Senate seat and bolstering their dominance of the congressional delegation in the 2018 midterms.”
According to Newsweek, the event at the International Church of Las Vegas had a large group of congregants. Many of the attendees, including Trump, did not wear face coverings.
The president arrived in Nevada on Saturday night as he was expected to deliver remarks in Carson City on Sunday afternoon. He has been subject to a lot of criticism “for frequently holding crowded, in-person rallies throughout the presidential race,” Newsweek also reported. His campaign events regularly had attendees not wearing face masks.
