Adam Schiff, D-Calif is now claiming he does not know the identity of the anti-Trump whistleblower who started the impeachment inquiry.

Trending Politics, however, has decided to declare this as false as Schiff has reportedly and met with the whistleblower before he latter made the complaint.

Republican Congressman Mike Conaway of Texas said, “I seek to make a motion we subpoena the whistleblower for a closed door deposition, so the questions appropriately asked the whistleblower by our side and your side may be asked.” Schiff responded by saying it won’t be his single decision. “We will entertain a motion to subpoena any witness after the witnesses have an opportunity to testify,” Schiff said.

Republican Rep. Jim Jordan says Schiff is the only member who knows who the whistleblower is, and his staff “is the only staff of any member of Congress that's had a chance to talk with that individual.” Jordan then asked Schiff about when they would have that opportunity. Schiff then responded with “That's a false statement. I do not know the identity of the whistleblower.”
