New York Attorney General Letitia James released an explosive statement Tuesday morning, detailing her investigation’s findings into sexual abuse allegations against Governor Andrew Cuomo. According to James, her probe found out that Cuomo “sexually harassed multiple women.”

At a press conference, James revealed that “Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women.” She added that the governor partook in “unwanted and inappropriate groping, kissing, hugging.” He also reportedly told accusers comments that were “deeply humiliating, offensive” and “inappropriate,” making all of them feel “uncomfortable.”

According to James’ 165-page report following her investigation that lasted months, Andrew Cuomo made inappropriate advances and comments towards at least 11 women. It also said that he retaliated when a former employee complained about his actions to the public.

Investigation Concludes that Andrew Cuomo Violated the Law

The investigation concluded that Cuomo “violated federal and state law.” However, James’ office said there were no specific penalties connected to the document.

The report is made up of interviews with 179 witnesses. It also included reviews of thousands of documents. According to the report, fear and intimidation thrived in the governor’s office. It made up a toxic environment for many of his staffers.

The report then concluded that Cuomo’s statements of denial “lack credibility” as it shows inconsistencies with the pieces of evidence obtained in the probe.
