Another Conservative Taken Down After Tweet Get Roseanne Cancelled…

Just hours after Roseanne Barr posted a racist tweet about former President Obama's aide Valerie Jarrett, her wildly popular reboot of “Roseanne” was given the boot.

ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said in a statement on Tuesday that the network would not be producing the show's second season.

“Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” Dungey told Fox News.

Tuesday’s scheduled “Roseanne” rerun was replaced with a rerun of “The Middle.”

A rep for Barr did not return Fox News' request for comment. She was also dropped from her talent agency, ICM Partners.

The news comes after Barr went into emergency damage-control mode following a politically charged tweet she sent linking Chelsea Clinton to liberal donor George Soros and a racially charged tweet saying Jarrett, who is African-American and born in Iran, is like the “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby.”

There was a time when we could handle this. When she could apologize take a suspension and have her punishment fit her crime. Now in a PC America, hundreds of jobs have to be lost because of a tweet. And it begs the question, if she wasn’t a conservative would this have played out differently.
