Biden’s America: White House will Veto any Bill Blocking Vaccine Mandates

The U.S. Senate was on the right track as it voted for a bill that would ban the vaccine mandate Pres. Joe Biden is Pushing, The said bill had two Democrats (Manchin and Tester) coming together with the GOP to Pass it. However, the White House refuses to go along with this bill.

According to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, the White House plans on vetoing the said bill instead of accepting what the people wanted.

However, it is unlikely that the proposal will go far enough for Biden to have to veto it.

Although the bill went through the Senate, it needs to also do the same thing in the House of Representatives, which is firmly under Democrat control, unlike the Senate.

Therefore, Nancy Pelosi will likely have the ability to get her party members into voting against the proposal. However, even if it manages to somehow make it through the House, Biden would still ban it.

Psaki said that they hope that the bill wouldn't reach the president’s desk, but if it comes, Biden will veto it.

Given this situation, it seems the White House is hoping that it wouldn’t need to deal with the said proposal. After all, vetoing it could make Biden even more unpopular than he already is, but he seems adamant to do so if needed.

If by some miracle it passes, the bill would block Biden’s vaccine mandate applicable for all businesses with over 100 employees. However, this bill might not even be needed as courts nationwide are striking down several vaccine mandates. Owing to the courts’ independence, the president doesn’t have control over their decisions.
