Charlotte Pence-Bond, Vice President Pence’s daughter, made a news show for kids to teach them about the coronavirus. “I was thinking recently about what I can do to help kids feel a little more secure, a little more informed,” Pence-Bond said on “Fox & Friends.”

According to her, she was restricted from watching news coverage of the 9/11 attacks when she was a child. This was because it would frighten her. Kids could be experiencing the same thing during the pandemic. So, Pence-Bond “wanted to create a show that kids could have their own little news briefing and feel like they have information that they need.”

She is “doing it every other day,” Pence-Bond said. Additionally, the show “breaks down the news with facts,” she added. She also interviewed her father in the first episode.

“I asked him questions about what the guidelines are,” she said. “But I also asked him questions that kids actually sent to me,” she also mentioned.

Pence-Bond shared that a lot of questions from kids were about “going back to school” and “when can they see their friends again, how the coronavirus spreads, and why the virus is more significant than the flu.”

The show could be found on YouTube. It can also be accessed as a podcast through Spotify and iTunes.
