Cinemark is opening up locations in San Francisco and Santa Clara even without concession food.

Deadline reported that Cinemark will open a San Francisco multiplex and locations in Santa Clara County on October 30th. However, there will no concessions following local restrictions.

“The move, including of the Century San Francisco Centre 9 and XD, follows plans to open five of its Alameda County theatres tomorrow — Oct. 27. The exhibitor said it currently has 13 Cinemark and Century theatres open in the Greater Bay Area,” the report said.

According to Cinemark, it would offer reduced “Welcome Back” pricing on concession food as soon as it is possible.

Cinema owners had previously declined to reopen even though they got the go signal, “calculating it wasn’t economically feasible without being able to sell concessions,” Deadline reported.

Cinemark, which now has about 85% of its theaters in the U.S. open, will be reopening with a schedule of movies that includes “Tenet,” “The Empty Man,” “Honest Thief,” “The War with Grandpa,” and “The New Mutants.” It will also include “Goonies,” “Jurassic Park,” “Alita: Battle Angel,” “V for Vendetta,” “Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back” and “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”
