CNN Director Admits They Worked to ‘Oust Trump’

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released a video last Tuesday where a CNN director talked about how their network worked to oust former President Donald Trump. In this video, CNN technical director Charlie Chester said that his network produced “propaganda” to oust former President Donald Trump during the 2020 presidential election. He bragged about their success.

Meanwhile, Project Veritas announced that their release today was only the first part out of three on their new round of damaging undercover videos of CNN employees.

However, the news may not come as a shocker. Nationwide polling showed that CNN remains the least trusted cable news network. In addition, survey respondents still see CNN as “the most divisive media brand in the country.”

CNN Wanted to Oust Trump

Project Veritas managed to film Chester over the course of a number of staged Tinder dates. In particular, some footage showed the CNN director bragging about the work they did in helping Trump lose his reelection. “Look what we did, we [CNN] got Trump out. I am 100​ percent going to say it, and I 100​ percent believe that if it wasn’t for CNN, I don’t know that Trump would have got voted out,” Chester said, adding that he came to work at CNN because he ​​” wanted to be a part of that,” he said in the video. 

‘I Think That’s Propaganda'

During the staged dates, Chester explained how CNN made their play to make the President look bad. The CNN director shared an example of how they exaggerated an instance where Trump's hand was shaking. Footage will overemphasize images of Trump's hand. Next, the network will feature medical experts, who will then suggest that the former President might be suffering from neurological issues. “[Trump’s] hand was shaking or whatever, I think. We brought in so many medical people to tell a story that was all speculation, that he was neurologically damaged, and he was losing it. He’s unfit to, you know, whatever. We were creating a story there that we didn’t know anything about. That’s what I think that’s propaganda.”

CNN’s Climate Change Strategy

The CNN director also shared how the network used a predetermined agenda to cover climate change and used fear to sell it. “I think there’s COVID fatigue. So, like whenever a new story comes up, they’re [CNN’s] going to latch onto it. They’ve already announced in our office that once the public is — will be open to it — we’re going to start focusing mainly on climate.”

Chester said that the network will begin showing “videos of decline in ice, and the weather warming up” plus the effects of climate change on the economy as part of their scare tactics.

The director said that CNN will replace coronavirus as the next big topic. Climate change is the next “pandemic-like story that we’ll beat to death, but that one’s got longevity. You know what I mean?” he said.  Presently, CNN already started moving on from coronavirus.

Chester said the network already identified a definitive ending to the pandemic. It will “taper off to a point that it’s not a problem anymore.

Afterward, CNN will then push climate change once the coronavirus fears melt away. Chester remarked that, unlike coronavirus, climate change can last a few years.

Consequently,  CNN will “probably be able to milk that quite a bit,” he said. He emphasized that climate change is going to be the next COVID thing for CNN. Asked if CNN will use fear to push their agenda, Chester emphatically said, “Yeah. Fear sells.”

Chester’s Social Media Info Already Gone

As of Wednesday morning, the CNN director’s social media profiles are nonexistent. However, O’Keefe managed to get a screenshot of Chester’s public LinkedIn profile before it disappeared.

“Prior to his @LinkedIn being DELETED, @CNN Technical Director Charlie Chester's job description read “played an integral part in the 2020 Presidential elections,” O’Keefe tweeted.
