More Democratic members of Congress are becoming furious at Maxine Waters for trying to incite violence in Minneapolis. These Congressional Democrats have started supporting Republicans and censuring Waters which can result in her dismissal as the House Financial Services Committee chairwoman.

Over the Weekend, Minneapolis was in Brooklyn Center, Minneapolis. She tried to encourage Democrats to become “confrontational” and to “make sure” everyone knew “we mean business.”

They are “looking for a guilty verdict,” Waters said. If that didn’t happen, they will need to “fight for justice,” apart from just staying in the streets in protest. However, she did say that she is hopeful.

Chad Pergram, a Fox News reporter, said that the anger of Democrats towards Waters “metastasized” following Judge Peter Cahill, the one overlooking the George Floyd trial, spoke out, opposing her, on live TV. Cahill said she possibly would have caused a mistrial.

According to Pergram’s report, several Democrats privately conceded their displeasure with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) saying that Waters doesn’t need to apologize. According to Pergram, many Democrats are mad at her and are also concerned regarding the optics of potential violence having a link back to Waters and to the Democrats in general.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) vowed on Sunday to take action against Waters if Pelosi fails to do so.
