DeSantis Signs Transgender Girl Sports Ban to Start off Pride Month in Florida
Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida has approved a bill that protects the rights of women and the integrity of women's sports.
However, now, through the use of identity politics, the Democrats have divided the American people. It seems this ran opposite to what they were pushing for many decades ago. Although, thanks to Republican political leaders like DeSantis, the rights of women are being protected.
On Tuesday, the Florida governor approved a Republican-backed bill that prohibits biological males from taking part in all-female sports. It acknowledges an obvious and well-documented truth, which indicates that biological males have bodies that are generally stronger and more agile than females.
According to DeSantis, the people in Florida believe in protecting “the fairness and the integrity” in women’s sports. He added that in the state, girls will play girls’ sports and boys will play boys’ sports. The governor added that they will make sure this endures, and that the bill he approved will help turn this into reality.
The governor then explained that the new legislation recognizes the biological sex indicated on a student’s birth certificate during the time of birth. He added that with this bill, they ensure that women would have equal opportunities “at the highest level/”
As a result, DeSantis said any student “deprived of an athletic opportunity” has the right to civil remedies. Entities and institutions, such as schools, that suffer directly or indirectly due to a violation of the bill also have the right to civil remedies.
