Texas Authorities Start Investigation on Potential Double Murder-Suicide
Authorities in Texas are looking into a possible double murder-suicide after fining three bodies in a home, as per a report.
The remains of three teenagers – two female and one male – were found inside a house in Crosby, Texas, by a family member, according to a report by Fox 26 Houston.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzales said in a press briefing that “Based on the trauma that was viewed, it appears that this may be a case of double homicide-suicide, but that is still going to be under investigation. But that is the preliminary information that we have.”
Investigators found a gun at the scene of the incident, per KPRC-TV Houston. Gonzales did not confirm the teenagers’ causes of death.
The three have not been named and authorities investigating the incident still do not know how they are related to each other.
The relative who found the bodies live nearby and went to the house in search of a family member when she found them, Gonzales said.
He went on to say that the people who owned the home were not there at the time, per KPRC.
“Anytime there is a child involved we’re all parents in some way connected to and its extremely difficult when we’re talking about young people,” Gonzalez also said.
He then mentioned that a motive should show itself through the probe. However, “these are all senseless at the end of the day when you’re talking about the loss of life of young people, it’s tragic.”
