Elon Musk is allegedly offering to buy Twitter at the original price he offered of $54.20 per share.

The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla first announced his intention to purchase the social network in April of this year, but later attempted to back out of the deal, citing concerns about bot numbers on the platform. According to Bloomberg, Musk is now offering to buy the company at his original offer price.

While Twitter's woke workforce internally opposed Musk's acquisition attempt, concerned about the billionaire's promise to make content moderation free speech-friendly, the company nevertheless took Musk to court to force him to complete the deal.

Before the agreement became bogged down in months of legal wrangling, the political left was preparing for a long battle to prevent any form of free speech from returning to one of the web's largest platforms.

As per a Breitbart News report back in May, to oppose Musk's acquisition of Twitter, a coalition of shady globalist nonprofits backed by leftist dark money, including from frequent Musk rival Bill Gates, banded together. Twenty-six of these organizations signed a letter urging shareholders to “Stop the Deal.”

Opponents of the deal never tried to hide their main concern: the collapse of the Big Tech censorship apparatus that they had painstakingly built up over the previous half-decade.
