According to Sen. Lindsey Graham, President Joe Biden needs to be impeached for his display of contemptible conduct when he decided to abandon Americans in Afghanistan while the Taliban ran amok

Graham spoke to Newsmax, in which the senator seems to be much more forceful by openly calling for the president’s impeachment.

Newsmax host Rob Schmitt noted that many are throwing the idea of impeachment around, in connection to the president’s recent actions. He then asked the senator, “What do you make of that?”

Graham: Biden Did “The Most Dishonorable Thing”

To this, Graham answered that he also thinks Biden needs to face impeachment.

The senator then shared his opinion that he thinks what Biden did was “the most dishonorable thing” for a Commander-in-Chief to do “maybe in modern times.”

He went on to say that, for political reasons, Biden wanted to pull out all personnel in Afghanistan. Graham added that Biden only “created the conditions” for another terrorist attack like 9/11 to happen in the U.S. He also said that the president only abandoned the people who “honorably and bravely fought” with the U.S.

Graham then asked how can one win a war if no one helps. “How do you keep it from our shores if all of us are here?”

The senator then shared his opinion, scathingly describing Biden’s action as a “dereliction of duty at the highest level” He also said he believes Biden “deserves” impeachment because of the way he abandoned Afghan allies and some American citizens still in the middle eastern country just because of the August 31 deadline.

Graham also shared what he would’ve done if he was in the president’s position. He said he would decide to stay in Afghanistan as long as it takes to get U.S. citizens and allies out. He also said that he would make sure American troops remain in Afghanistan as long as it takes to keep the U.S. safe.
