There are some insane people in San Fransisco that are trying to pass a bill that will allow illegal immigrants the right to vote. You heard me. They actually want people who are here illegally to vote for our countries President. Yet, that isn't even the best part. Not only are they trying to pass the bill… this is their third attempt at passing it.

Supposedly their “plan of attack” is using Donald Trump's anti-immigrant approach at America as a springboard to get people to vote... for illegal immigrants… to have the right to vote. Clearly this was not a well thought out plan.

Eric Mar the man behind the plan had this to say, “With Donald Trump’s racist and anti-immigrant sentiments, there is a reaction from many of us who are disgusted by those politics,” Mar said. “I think that’s going to ensure there is strong Latino turnout as well as other immigrant turnout.”

Not only is Eric Mar trying to get illegal immigrants the right to vote but he is trying to get them the right to vote for the Board of Education. So let me get this straight, you come to our country illegally, and then you want to vote on who is in charge of our school systems. You mean the school systems that taxpayers pay for, the school systems that you are using as a non-tax payer? What I'm trying to say is, you want to have an opinion the something that you are getting for free?

I don't know that just doesn't make sense to me.

They tried this bill in 2004, and it was rejected by a small gap. Then again they tried in 2010, this time, it got only 46 percent of the vote.
There are laws that are set in place that will stop illegal immigrants from voting in federal elections, but local elections are a different story. However, that's how it all starts. If we allow illegal immigrants to vote in local elections, then a few years will pass, people will cease to care and before you know it the 11.4 million illegal immigrants will be casting their voices into the political pot.
I do not think that should be allowed. Immigration isn't wrong, but illegal immigration is. They are taking advantage of our government and now they expect to have a hand in the policies of that government? That doesn't make sense to me.
There are already seven jurisdictions that have allowed illegal immigrants the right to vote. Six of those jurisdictions are in Maryland, and one is in Chicago. Now we want to spread that mentality to California?
This is what I mean, it spreads.
We need structure in a country, and we cannot allow this law to be passed.
