It Doesn’t Pay To Piss Off Police Officers

It is important to know your rights, but as this video shows, simply shouting you have rights to an officer won't do you much good.

The people in this video demonstrate why you should be polite to police officers. If saying you don't comply worked on the police then people would do whatever they wanted and just shout “I don't comply” at every officer they see. Citing your rights is like everything else, there is a time and a place for it.

As the police officers show, they will break your window, taze you, and drag you kicking and screaming to jail. I find it funny how most of the people “not complying” are clearly breaking the law.

I think this video is important to consider when we are confronted almost every day with anti-police videos. While bad cops do exist, you need to remember the enormous pressure they are under and the level of crap they have to deal with on a daily basis.

So do yourself a favor, when you have to talk to a police officer be respectful and courteous because they have the power to make your life hell.

As the saying goes – you can beat the wrap, but you can't beat the ride.
