Actor Johnny Depp waded into the political news cycle recently, at the red-carpet premiere of his new movie “Alice Through the Looking Glass” in London, he told the Daily Mail exactly what he thinks would happen if Donald Trump were elected President of these Untied States of America.

“If Donald Trump is elected president of the United States in a kind of historical way, it’s exciting because we will see the actual last president of the United States,” Depp opined. “It just won’t work after that,” the actor suggested, presumably hinting that he thinks the presidency will devolve into some sort of dictatorship.

Earlier in the year, Johnny played ‘The Donald’ in a 50-minute “movie of the week” spoof for Funny or Die, riffing on the businessman’s now infamous book, “The Art of the Deal.”

The best we can tell, Depp is not a fan of Mr. Trump’s candidacy.
