Rapper and personality Kanye West does his part by making contributions to several pro-Black Lives Matter organizations and charities.

According to a representative for West, the rapper has established a college fund for Giana, the 6-year-old daughter of George Floyd.

George Floyd died in police custody last month when Derek Chauvin, a police officer. The latter knelt on Floyd's neck as he gasped for air.

West has reportedly donated $2 million to various charities associated with Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor.

Fox News reported that West “has pledged to pay legal costs for the families of Arbery and Taylor and will make financial contributions to Black-owned businesses in his hometown of Chicago.”

WZZM13 reported that West's wife, Kim Kardashian West, has also been doing some helping of her own. “After seeing a photo of a young girl whose face was permanently damaged after she was hit with a rubber bullet while protesting Floyd's death, the mother of four offered to pay for her medical care,” said the report.

She also announced that her businesses like SKIMs and KKW Cosmetics will be donating to the NAACP legal defense fund. She will also donate to Black Lives Matter, National Urban League, and Colour of Change – as reported by Elle.
