Leadership Concerns; Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan In Question
Donald Trump is certainly a non-traditional President. He was a candidate that ran on fierce words and straight talk. This was something many of us found refreshing as we have grown tired of the same old tired boring figures known to us as “politicians”. Unconventional and questioned at every turn, President Trump has laid out an ambitious plan for America. Many of the agenda items, if implemented, would benefit the country and its citizenry. Unfortunately for President Trump, there are two individuals which will be making this agenda a lot harder to implement and are causing leadership concerns. No….not Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. I am talking about Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell.

Mitch McConnell
Senator McConnell has been in the United States Senate since 1985. Oh yes, other objections or items from 1985 include things such as the Original MacIntosh, Nintendo NES, Windows 1.0, Back to the Future, and the first Wrestlemania. Mitch McConnell has been around for forever.

You think he would understand how to be a passionate fighter of freedom by now. Instead we are left with the likes of this:
On top of the monotone rambling, we seldom hear any promotion of freedom or individual liberty from the “Great” (not really) Majority Leader of the Senate. His default reaction is to blame the freedom caucus and asserting that any Republican that did not support Obamacare – Lite…must want to keep the Affordable Care Act as the “status quo”.
The man is incapable of understanding conservative principles and how to fight for them. Instead of trying to make excuses and attack the Freedom Caucus, he should have been working with Speaker Paul Ryan to create an effective replacement bill that actually restricts government expansion and allows the free market to reign.
Not a peep heard from McConnell the entire time Obamacare – Lite was up for debate. My conclusion?
He supported Obamacare – Lite but didn’t want his face out there doing the heavy lifting…or he doesn’t mind the Affordable Care Act staying in place. McConnell has always been a big spend Republican.
Paul Ryan
Speaker Paul Ryan was one of the leading voices in describing how a Republican controlled Congress could repeal the majority of the ACA through the reconciliation process. Now….this same man is the one who sounds weak and feeble because their Obamacare – Lite plan failed. Observe here.
How weak is that? “Uhh I don’t know what else to say Obamacare is the law of the land until we pass something to replace it”.
Where is the fire and passion at? Could you ever see Chuck Schumer getting up to the podium and conceding defeat to anything on the Trump agenda? Democrats know how to fight and speak passionately about their goals. Republican leadership does not.
Repeal Repeal Repeal
The Republican controlled Congress had previously sent a full repeal bill of the ACA to the desk of President Obama. Was this just for show or was it serious? The same exact bill now should be placed upon the desk of President Trump. He will sign it. Obamacare is vanquished. Is there another way we should spell this out to the Republican leadership?
