New Evidence Points to Coronavirus Coverup in China
Several prominent politicians have criticized China for attempting to coverup the coronavirus outbreak. Also, new evidence indicates that the country could be directly responsible for creating the pandemic.
Unnamed sources told Fox News that they are becoming increasingly confident that COVID-19 originated in a viral research laboratory in Wuhan. However, the virus did not come about as a developed bioweapon, as some early reports indicated. Instead, sources say China developed the virus in an effort to prove its labs can identify and treat viruses at the same level as U.S. facilities. One source told Fox News that China’s efforts to hide the truth could amount to the “costliest government cover-up of all time.”

Researchers believe COVID-19 initially passed to humans through a bat. The official Chinese narrative claims that the occurred through a wildlife market in Wuhan. However, sources say they believe the outbreak actually began when a lab worker at Wuhan’s biosafety level 4 virology facility carried the virus into the population.
The sources claimed their intel was based on both classified and open-source evidence. These pieces of evidence allegedly documented the extent of the Chinese coverup. However, they cautioned that the evidence doesn't definitively confirm anything. While there is still uncertainty about the outbreak’s origin, many administration and intelligence officials agree that an extensive coverup took place. An investigation into the matter is continuing.
The biggest problem with China’s version of events is that the market identified as the source never sold bats. Sources say China blamed the wet market to deflect international focus from the Wuhan lab. The said lab has been at the center of much of the speculation surrounding the Chinese coverup. In fact, the U.S. State Department issued several urgent warnings against the facility just two years ago.
Whether or not the Chinese made the virus, mounting evidence that points to a massive government coverup exist. Several doctors and journalists previously alerted the public to the coronavirus threat. However, they all have disappeared or met mysterious ends since the outbreak began. According to a recent report from activists, two citizen journalists who blew the whistle on the pandemic disappeared in February. These two journalists remain missing to this day.

Several prominent American political figures have also criticized China for its shady post-outbreak maneuvers. During an interview on Wednesday, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) said that China needs to be held accountable for worsening the coronavirus outbreak. Cruz said he believes the virus could’ve been contained regionally if China had acted prompted to quell the outbreak. “We've always viewed it as a human rights offense when they [China] censor and silence free speech,” Cruz told Fox News’ Marth MacCallum, “We've now seen that it's not just a human rights threat, but it is also a threat to national security and global health.”
Retired four-star Army General Jack Keane says he also believes China acted to coverup the virus. In a statement on Tuesday, General Keane said China’s fingerprints are all over the spread of the novel coronavirus. “We don’t know if it was intentional,” Keane said. “But we clearly know it was reckless for sure and deceptive,” he added.
The mainstream media has vehemently dismissed any claims that China was responsible for creating the virus. However, now it seems that the evidence can’t be ignored. Apparently, the left-wing media is much more concerned with taking down President Trump than reporting the facts. This is the case even if it means furthering an openly-hostile communist regime’s attempt to deceive the American people and the world.
