New York Saved Donald Trump’s Campaign

Last night's primary in New York was as historic as everyone had predicted. Trump crushed his two rivals by winning over 60% of the vote and almost all of the 95 delegates up for grabs.

As the video shows, Trump is set to win anywhere between 85 to 90 of the state's 95 delegates, with the remaining going to Kasich. None of the delegates are expected to go to Cruz.

Trump won by a far larger lead than most had expected and the victory puts him back on track to winning the nomination before a brokered convention.

Take a look at Donald Trump's victory speech below. He is energetic, relieved, and prepared for the next primary. The question will be if he can utilize this moment or if he will stumble again in next week's primaries.

Cruz on the other hand, who came in a distant third, is now all but locked out of any chance at victory by legitimate means. Ted Cruz is now in the unfortunate camp of John Kasich, leaving both men refusing to drop out with only the hope that they can stall Trump long enough to be granted the party's nomination at a brokered convention.

Ted Cruz moved on to Pennsylvania before the dust had time to settle in New York. This is the most exciting primary I have witnessed in a long long time.
