Ohio Democrat’s Daughter Yelled Obscenities and Resisted Arrest Outside Trump Rally
Laura Gerken, 36, daughter of a Democrat county commissioner in Ohio, was one of three people arrested on disorderly conduct charges outside President Trump's rally in Toledo on Thursday night.
According to reports, Gerken engaged in a physical fight with another person outside the Huntington Center. She was then seen yelling obscenities and resisted when officers placed her under arrest.”
Laura Gerken’s father is Pete Gerken – a Lucas County commissioner since 2005. Here's the statement he issued in response to his daughter’s arrest:
“All Americans have the right to free speech and to exercise their right to express their opinions. The Toledo police department and all law enforcement professionals did a great job yesterday protecting everyone’s safety in the downtown area. Like so many other Americans, we feel strongly about the views of President Trump. We will deal with this issue as a family.”

Another woman, Lindsey Rowland, 29, was arrested outside the rally.
According to police, she was unsteady on her feet and punched an officer. Rowland was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication. A third person, John Miller, was drinking around the time of the rally. He refused to leave and was also charged with disorderly conduct.
According to city spokesman Ignazio Messina, Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz was pleased with how police and firefighters handled the rally. But, what are your thoughts? Let us know in the comment section below.
