Republican Party Announces 2024 Convention to Happen in Wisconsin

The Republican Party revealed on Friday that it will hold its presidential nominating convention for 2024 in Wisconsin, a state that Democrat Joe Biden clinched back in 2020.

According to the Republican National Committee, the convention will take place in Milwaukee, which is the biggest city in the said state.

Both the Republican and Democratic parties usually hold a huge convention a few months before the November elections. This is traditionally when they officially name their presidential nominees.

The RNC has yet to announce the date for the convention in Milwaukee. However, many expect it to happen between July and August 2024.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party has not yet announced its site and date for its convention in 2024. However, it did reveal its shortlisted choices: Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, or New York.

Former Pres. Donald Trump, a Republican, has hinted several times that he possibly pans on seeking the GOP nomination for 2024.
