It's a well known fact that Schiff has not yet presented any evidence that Trump committed any impeachable offenses in his Ukraine phone call, “nor has any of Schiff's cherry-picked witnesses delivered any bad information about the president.”

However, it appears that Schiff has made another false claim.

Rush Limbaugh, conservative talk radio host, detailed a report from the Wall Street Journal called “Key Piece of Democrats’ Evidence in Impeachment Appears to Fall Apart.” Limbaugh pointed out that Schiff in his report “revealed that Rudy Giuliani had called people in Ukraine or some such place to further the investigation of whatever,” in which the Wall Street Journal said “No, no, no, no. This number that Rudy called is not Ukraine. Schiff is totally wrong about this.”

It was further explained that “Schiff’s committee claimed that Giuliani had a 12-minute phone call on August 8 with a number that Democrats claimed was OMB (Office of Management and Budget) … So Adam Schiff’s report claims that Giuliani called the OMB for 12 minutes to arrange for them to withhold or send — depending on what was desired — money to Ukraine.”

However, Limbaugh noted that the Wall Street Journal found “the number that Schiff claims belongs to the OMB is not the OMB.” According to OMB officials, Giuliani did not speak with their staff, and the call logs of the White House do not match the phone records of Mick Mulvaney, acting chief of staff and budget office director.

“If the Democrats are going to attack their political opponents, staff members, and even journalists by publishing their phone records, you’d really think they’d at least get the phone numbers right,” said Communications Director Jack Langer.
