Stephen Bannon Is Proof That Trump Administration Is On Track

On Thursday, Stephen Bannon made his first public appearance since President Trump took office. While millions across the country eagerly awaited his words, I don’t think anyone was prepared for the magnitude and effectiveness of his words to clear up any confusion as to where the current administration stands.

Stephen Bannon – Proof Trump Administration Is On Track

Bannon spoke alongside Reince Priebus, Trump’s chief of staff. The two were supposed to show that they’re working together, and not rivals. And while they may not love working together, they’re sure not rivals. In fact, ‘rivals’ would imply there’s some competition between the two. There isn’t. Bannon owns the show totally and completely. A rivalry would imply that Priebus poses some sort of threat to Bannon. And after Thursday’s Conservative Political Action Conference, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Priebus seems like he just wants to avoid any conflict, going with the flow and sticking to his talking points, which all focus on agenda items that haven’t been a lighting bolt for controversy and criticism. Bannon, on the other hand, was the champion behind Trump’s immigration and foreign policy plans, including the sensational travel ban.

On Thursday, Bannon focused on “deconstructing the administrative state,” meaning he wants to return lawmaking to Congress and the courts. He made clear that inside the White House, everything is going according to plan.

He vowed that the party will stick together and is ready for a fight, and urged the CPAC attendees to stick together and have the administration’s back. Bannon said that the president's plan is sure to face determined resistance by a “corporatist, globalist media”, the progressive left, and even moderate conservatives.

“If you think they're going to give you your country back without a fight, you are sadly mistaken,” he said. “Every day – every day – it is going to be a fight.”

Bannon took full advantage of his first public speaking appearance since Trump took office to send a clear message – that the Trump administration is sticking to its guns. Trump will stick to all his campaign goals and make good on those promises.

He’s proof that we’re right where we need to be – evidenced by his acknowledgement that we’re in for a fight. And by the fact that the entire administration is ready for that fight, rather than shying away from it.

It showed that the party is united, as he and Reince Priebus presented one united front. Sorry libs, looks like all those reports of friction in the White House were over exaggerated. Our party sticks together, as evidenced by Mr. Bannon’s CPAC appearance.
