A longtime aide of Donald Trump revealed that the former president’s priority for the 2022 midterm elections is to get Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) unseated.

The said piece also referenced Miller when it comes to a strategic approach to looking for a challenger. It mentioned that the former president met in Florida with his advisers to talk about endorsements for 2022.

The article also mentioned that one of Trump’s top goal was to choose a candidate from an expanding Republican roster in Wyoming who are looking to challenge Cheney. Choosing one would make sure that the votes opposing Cheney would not be divided. The piece also mentioned that the former president’s adviser had already started making calls and meeting with possible candidates.

The former president has endorsed Rep Elise Stefanik (R-NY.), who is swiftly starting to become the favorite to replace the Wyoming representative on her seats in the House Committees.
