Trump Ready to Announce 2024 Decision After Midterms
During an interview on Monday, former President Donald Trump revealed that he will likely announce his decision with regards to running for the White House in 2024 after next year’s midterm elections.
Back in June, Trump told Newsmax that he would announce his plans for 2024 “in the not too distant future.” However, back then, he didn’t specify when he would do so.

On a Monday interview with Fox News, however, the former president said that he is “certainly thinking about it and we’ll see.” He added that he believes many people would be “very happy” with his decision and that he would probably reveal it following the 2022 midterms.
However, he also said this doesn’t mean he will announce something. Trump added that “It’s probably appropriate, but a lot of people are waiting for that decision to be made.”
The former president then went on to say that other Republican Party members who might run for the White House are also waiting for his decision because they will not run if he runs.
“We have a lot, they’re all very well named. But almost all of them said if I run, they’ll never run,” the former president then stated, further adding that this “shows a great degree of loyalty and respect.”
As long as President Trump is still running for President in 2024, the American people will still have hope.

He was also asked about his potential running mate. To this, Trump answered that many great people are part of the Republican Party.
He did note that Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida is “a good man, but we have a lot of great people. He’s been good.”
He also said that Nikki Haley, the former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. sometimes “goes off the rails,” but then she comes back.
According to Trump, Hayley said she would not run if the former president did. He saw this as “a good sign of respect,” adding that “I was very good to her, I thought she did a very good job at what she did with the United Nations. She did an excellent job.”
Following this, the former president reiterated that many good people in his party would be great running mates. He added that “it’s very early” to even be discussing his pick.
