  • Two of Donald Trump’s children will not be voting for their father during the New York primary.
  • Ivanka and Eric Trump will be unable to vote because they “forgot” to register for a political party.
  • Ivanka and Eric have been seen making financial contributions to Republican and Democrat candidates, and yet the New York primary somewho slipped their minds.

At least two of Donald Trump’s adult children will be unable to vote for their father in New York during the state’s closed Republican primary on April 19 because they missed the October deadline to register for a political party.

Both Ivanka and Eric Trump will be unable to vote for the Republican presidential frontrunner because they currently are not registered with a political party in New York State and apparently missed the deadline to register for one, according to Yahoo News. Although Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Trump Jr. have all campaigned alongside their father during the election season, only Donald Jr., who is registered with the Republican Party, is eligible to vote, according to the New York State Board of Elections’ records.

Campaign finance reports also show that Eric and Ivanka have made monetary contributions to Republican and Democrat candidates alike, according to Yahoo News.

The Trump campaign recently suffered a different kind of setback when it handed out multiple rounds of delegate slates in Colorado that listed incorrect numbers on the ballots, according to the Conservative Review. Colorado’s convention, which only uses a fill in the bubble system for numbers, does not include names for electronic tallying.
