Elizabeth Warren was reported to be opposing school choice, yet she could enroll her own son in a private school. New York Post reported in November that Warren’s schools plan is “radically anti-choice.”

When confronted by a school-choice activist in November, Warren denied that her kids went to private schools. She insisted that her kids went to public school – defined by Washington Free Beacon as “a half-truth, at best, that obscures a reality at odds with her image as a scrappy public school teacher-turned-populist crusader.”

It turns out that Warren’s son, Alex Warren, spent majority of his formative years at the Haverford School, one of the country’s most elite private schools, as per yearbooks. Haverford School is an all-boys college preparatory school in suburban Philadelphia. High school tuition is around $39,500 a year. Alex Warren attended the school from 1988 (as a sixth-grader) until he graduated in 1994.

Washington Free Beacon reported that the Warren campaign “did not respond to questions about her son's education, including where he studied during his year-long absence from Haverford. The prep school declined comment, citing its privacy policies.”
