Trump Slams Woke LeBron, Says Remarks Racist and Insulting
Former President Donald Trump slammed a woke LeBron James Thursday, He called the NBA star’s comments “racist, divisive, nasty, insulting, and demeaning. In addition, Trump said that the NBA superstar’s post “does nothing to bring our country together.”

Wednesday, the famous NBA professional basketball player and social media star tweeted a picture of a police officer involved in the altercation between two women.
The police officer had to shoot the woman carrying a knife as she tried to stab the other one. The suspect, Ma’Khia Bryant, died from the gunshot wound.
James tweeted the officer’s full-body picture along with the words “YOU’RE NEXT” and came with an hourglass emoji, implying time is running out.
“LeBron James should focus on basketball rather than presiding over the destruction of the NBA, which has just recorded the lowest television RATINGS, by far, in the long and distinguished history of the League.
His RACIST rants are divisive, nasty, insulting, and demeaning. He may be a great basketball player, but he is doing nothing to bring our Country together!” Trump stated.
James Issues A Follow Up
Outrage over James’ tweet came to a head that the Lakers star had to delete his tweet less than two hours after posting. He released a follow-up tweet on his earlier statement to clarify but fell short of apologizing for his statement.
“ANGER does [sic] any of us any good and that includes myself!” James said. “Gathering all the facts and educating does though! My anger still is here for what happened to that Lil girl. My sympathy for her family and may justice prevail!” he said.
“I’m so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police. I took the tweet down because it's being used to create more hate -This isn’t about one officer. it’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism. I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY,” he added.
Outrage Over James’ Tweet
The woke James’s tweet sparked widespread pushback against the NBA star. Many said that with many claiming that he was putting a target on the back of the police officer.
The National Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) responded to James’ tweet. “@KingJames, with his vast resources & influence, should educate himself and, frankly, has a responsibility to do so, on the facts before weighing in.
This is disgraceful & extremely reckless. The officer saved a young girl’s life. No amount of gaslighting will change that fact,” the group’s official account posted.
What Really Happened
Michael Woods, interim police chief of Columbus, said at a press conference that the officer had to shoot the suspect as she was about to stab another person.
He said a video of the incident showed “the female with the knife,” who the police officer shot and killed, was “attempting to stab” another female in the video.
“Normally we don’t provide information this soon, but we understand the public’s need, desire, and expectation to have transparency upon what happened,” Woods said. “We’ve worked very hard tonight to provide you a short video of the officer, the first officer that arrived at the scene and this is the officer that did ultimately fire his weapon,” he added.
Columbus Mayor Calls For Calmness
During the same press briefing, Columbus Mayor addressed the media. “We know, based on this footage, the officer took action to protect another young girl in our community, but a family is grieving tonight and this young 15-year-old girl will never be coming home,” he said.
“We think it’s critically important to share as much information as possible, as quickly as possible. So we’ll continue to share footage, other information in the hours and days ahead, making sure we’re not in any way shape, or form compromising the independent investigation being done by BCI.
We felt transparency and sharing this footage as incomplete as it may be at this time is critically important to make sure we were sharing good accurate information about what transpired today with the public and for this grieving family,” he implored.

Mr. James may I suggest you walk in a police officers boots for a day and face life and death decisions to be made within seconds? What if that was your daughter that about to get stabbed? This situation would not have happened if someone had taught this young girl how to cope with her emotions and express herself appropriately instead of acting out of her mind, yelling and screaming and threatening others with a weapon. This was assault with a deadly weapon and the presence of the police officer didn’t even cause her to pause. The officer told the girl to drop the knife and of course she didn’t listen to the officers order . Unfortunately it is her own fault that she is dead today. The officer saved the life of another human being. He should not be blamed for doing his job. Some people should do the right thing and let the video speak for itself. It is a shame that girl died but all she had to do is drop the knife and all of this could have been avoided.
