The new poll tracked voter approval ratings for Biden during three periods. First, they measured voter sentiment between January to June of 2021.

The middle period covered the Biden presidency between July to August. Finally, the third period covered the months between September 2021 and March 2022.

The poll discovered that the President’s approval rating declined by nearly 20 points among millennials and Generation Z voters. This latest Gallup poll contained 8,000 eligible respondents during the three periods mentioned.

From a high of 60% during his initial months as President, Biden now enjoys a low 39% approval rating among Generation Z respondents.

Meanwhile, 60% of millennials also had positive things to say about Biden’s first few months in office.

However, that approval tapered off to 41% by March of next year. The findings show a drop of 20% on average among the generations of young voters.

Young Voters Along Party Lines Also Disapprove of Biden’s Leadership

When measured along party lines, Biden is also suffering from low approval ratings across young voters. Only 30% of Generation Z Democrats approve of Biden’s handling of his job as President.

In contrast, only 18% of Republican-affiliated Gen Z voters like Biden’s performance.

The beleaguered president managed to gain a slim minority among Gen Z independent voters. 52% of these young voters continue to approve of Biden's job performance.

Meanwhile, millennials are also following the same pattern as the younger generation. Only 27% of Democrat millennials approve of Biden’s job as president, while 20% of Republican millennials feel the same.

Again, independent millennials save Biden from a wipeout. 53% of young voters without any party affiliation said they approve of Biden managing the country.

Biden Is Losing Support Even Among Minorities

The Democrat bleeding is not officially a hemorrhage. The President’s approval rating among Black voters suffered a 20-point drop. From 87%, Biden is now hanging on to a 67% job approval rating among blacks.

Others also reported a decrease as well. According to the Gallup poll, only 52% of Hispanic respondents gave their support to Biden. For white voters, Biden’s popularity remained low at 35%.

Additionally, more educated Americans approve of Biden as president. 47% of college-educated voters approve of the Biden presidency.

However, only 37% of respondents who only have a high school or GED degree say they support the President.

A String of Continuous Declines

Biden enjoyed immense popularity during his first few months on the job. However, the President soon quickly fell out of favor with most groups, especially among young voters.

An average of 56% of all Americans approved how Biden handled his job between January to June 2021. However, the decline started appearing during the botched Afghanistan withdrawal.

Between July and August of 2021, his approval ratings sank to 49%. By September, Biden's approval rating stayed in the low 40% range.

Since then, the President has yet to rise above 50% again. He now averages a 42% approval rating among all Americans.
