A video shows a 77-year-old man “going toe-to-toe with only his bare knuckles” against a mugger in the United Kingdom. The senior was identified as Trevor who had just withdrawn money from an ATM in Cardiff, Wales, early on February 5th. An unknown white male then approached and demanded his cash and bank card.

“A man clad in black with a yellow vest approached Trevor and grabbed him by the collar. The 77-year-old was quick to act, holding the man in a shoulder lock before hitting him with punches and jabs,” reported Fox News.

The suspect appeared to carry a sharp object and attempted to jab the man with it several times, but he “remained no match for Trevor, and was forced to slowly back off until he goes out of the camera shot,” reported Fox News. While social media users praised Trevor for his bravery, they were also concerned about his well-being.

“What a courageous guy! Hope he’s doing OK,” Crimestoppers' Wales manager Ella Rabaiotti tweeted. South Wales Police replied and said Trevor was unharmed.

“Detectives have been checking in on him and he's doing okay,” police tweeted. “He was shocked & very shaky after the incident, but thankful nothing worse had happened.”

No respect for seniors. Mugger is a pos. Old timer should have knocked him in his teeny weeny balls. Kudos to the Senior for defending himself!!

What do you have to lose? Everything. The right to carry doesn’t give you the right to kill people. I get so tired of the people, especially police who say “I feared for my life”, what a cop out much of the time. I understand “I feared losing my billfold and personal information.” There is a reason the Old Testament required an “Eye for an Eye and a tooth for a tooth”. It was so someone who wants your wallet wasn’t shoot dead. Now if he/she pulls out a knife or gun and threatens to kill you, go for it.
