Nurses who help fight against the coronavirus at a New York hospital had their car tires slashed while at work. According to New York State Police, they “nabbed the suspect” after someone from the New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital called at 7 a.m. The call happened on Friday, “during a shift change,” as reported by Fox News.
“Investigation determined Daniel Hall slashed tires on 22 vehicles parked in the hospital parking lot,” said the police. The police charged 29-year-old Hall felony criminal mischief. Authorities also charged him with the possession of the illegal drug PCP. Hospital officials said they will pay for the damage.

New York-Presbyterian Hospital officials expressed their shock when they heard about the incident. They said the incident surprised them especially when “employees are working tirelessly and courageously through this crisis.”
Before the incident, police officers and firefighters had gathered outside the hospital to applaud the health care workers.
“What our hospital is focusing on today is the beautiful tribute given by our first responders,” the hospital said in a statement.
