America Already Failed At Socialism
Capitalism is not just a passing phase of America's economics, it is a major cornerstone that has shaped this country and helped us to become the domination economic force of the last 100 years. But, were we always capitalists?
This video goes over why capitalism is so important and how we didn't just knock it out of the park on the first try. Did you know we first started as socialist colonies? An ideal socialist commune to be exact, if you didn't know that don't worry, we didn't stay there for long. The colonies quickly found out that this was unsustainable and moved to early forms of capitalism.
Our forefathers fought tooth and nail for the early stepping stones to the free market that would endure and grow.
“It was the wisdom of experience, not academic ideology that created America's free market principles. The result has been the most prosperous and free nation in the history of the world.”
The constitution itself is filled with pro-capitalism ideas, set to ensure that we wouldn't be swayed by the promise of a free lunch.
So next time someone tries to convince you of the merits of socialism, let them know that America already tried it and failed. If it couldn't work with so few colonists, how is it supposed to work with over 300 million?

socialism is the ideal that all items and wealth are owned by the community and distributed fairly, in this country only the items the government wants you to have will be given to you, meaning control the items needed, control over the population becomes easier……alas the old saying holds true the rich get richer and the poorer get nothing.
someone has to work to pay everyone who is receiving all the benefits although they don’t work. Then the people working quit because they are working and not receiving any benefits.
I’ve never been able to see the wisdom in communal living. Socialism just will not work no matter how it’s presented or practiced.
