Let the Race Begin: Libs send in Anti-Gun Beto to Run for the Governor of Texas

Beto O’Rourke – the person who exclaimed “HELL YES WE’RE GONNA TAKE YOUR GUNS” – has announced that he will officially run for the gubernatorial seat in Texas, which is known to be one of the states that favor guns the most.

In his announcement, O’Rourke said that he will run for the position so that he can serve “ALL of the people of Texas.” He went on to say that he believes the only way they can “achieve great things” for the Lone Star State is by “looking out for each other and moving forward together.”

O’Rourke then said that he intends to serve the state and attempt to unite the people of Texas to “do some really big work that is before as” and go beyond the “smallness and divisiveness that Greg Abbott” has brought to the state.

He claims that people can see it in the things Abbot “wants us to focus on right now,” such as allegedly dictating which girls can participate in middle school sports or what teachers can teach in public schools.

O’Rourke ran for president before and failed. At that time, he promised to get rid of the American people’s guns.

It goes without saying that it’ll be tough for O’Rourke to find backing when it comes to gun confiscation if he’s running in a place where people love their guns.

Meanwhile, the Republican Party will likely see Abbott or Chad Prather run for the said position.
