Biden Puts Scandal-Stricken Andrew Cuomo in Charge of COVID-19 Conference Calls

President Joe Biden has been notably missing in action at the weekly COVID-19 calls with the country’s governors. This comes despite promising during his campaign that can better handle the pandemic than former President Donald Trump.

Neither Biden nor Vice President Kamala Harris has shown up to the regular COVID-19 conference calls with the governor. Real Clear Politics revealed the situation, along with the fact that the current administration chose Andrew Cuomo, who has become riddled with scandals recently, to lead the calls.

The controversial New York governor has been chosen to lead the calls despite his questionable conduct toward women. Several of Cuomo’s former aides have recently come forward to accuse Cuomo of improper conduct, graphically detailing the governor’s actions.

Cuomo also faced backlash as he did not manage to handle the COVID-19 situation in his state. His actions even caused the deaths among tens of thousands of elderly people.

Cuomo’s actions issued a death sentence to the state’s most vulnerable people, and he also covered it up for political reasons.

When asked about the absence of the president and about Cuomo leading the calls, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki tried to spin it as a partisan issue.

Cuomo, despite his not-so-good track record, serves as the chairman of the National Governors Association. Therefore, he has become the one who takes charge when it comes to the state.
