On the matter of the border wall, the state of Texas decided it asked enough already. With the federal government not taking action, the state will take matters into its own hands. As a result, Texas will build its own border wall to protect its borders.

Worsening Border Crisis Needs The Border Wall
As the border crisis continues to get worse, Texas Republican Governor Gre Abbott said that the state will build its own barrier between Texas and Mexico. Since the administration of President Joe Biden won’t “do its job,” then it’s up to Texas leadership to show initiative.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, Abbott said that Texas will commence building a border wall in areas where migrants can easily cross the Rio Grande border with Mexico. According to Breitbart, the barriers will enable state law enforcement to arrest migrants for state law violations.”
Border Out Of Control
“The influx across the border is out of control, and the Biden administration has shown that [it] is not going to step up and do its job,” Abbott said before leaving for the border summit in Del Rio, Texas. “And amidst reports of even more people coming in across the border, we know we have to step up and do more,” he added.
Meanwhile, the city of Del Rio, Texas is currently overwhelmed by some of the largest influxes of illegal immigrants. “They’re seeing a lot of very bad dangerous people come across the border.
People that they are afraid of encountering, people who are causing damage to their fences, their livestock, their crops, their neighborhoods, and their homes,” Abbott remarked. “Bad things are happening around here, and so they need help from the state to help them address this exploding crisis,” the governor added.
To help combat the incursions, Texas will “use existing state laws along with the authority of the State of Emergency declaration” to crack down on illegals crossing the border.
Abbott also said that “What people have seen in videos across the country seems to be the Biden administration welcoming these people to the United States. We won’t be sending that message.”
No Pathway To Roam The County
Abbott also warned those who plan to illegally cross the Texas border that consequences will arise. “If you come to Texas, you’re subject to being arrested.
You’re not going to have a pathway to roam the country. You’re going to have a pathway directly into a jail cell,” he warned. “We want to be very aggressive in working with local officials and begin making mass arrests.
In working in collaboration with a large number of counties — that means we’re going to be arresting a lot more people,” he added.
However, Abbott did admit that in the end, only Congress and the federal government can fix the border crisis. For the moment, Texas will step up and start cracking down on crossings.
Specifically, anybody who tries to go to the United States illegally via Texas won’t get a free pass to the States. However, they will get a free pass to a jail cell. That is if they can get past the Texas border wall.
