BREAKING NEWS – 6 officers have been shot and 3 killed in Baton Rouge by 3 suspects wearing camo and masks.
The shooting started around 9am CST after someone called the police reporting a man in full camo walking down a local highway carrying an assault weapon.
One suspect is reported dead and police are looking for 2 more.
These actions come in the wake of the killing of Alton Sterling by Baton Rouge police over a week ago. Since then there have been protests that have ended with clashes between the protesters and police. The city has been described by law enforcement official as a “powder keg.”
