Terry McAuliffe, the Governor of Virginia, has now passed a bill that will allow 200,000 convicted felons to vote in this upcoming November ballot. It seems like the Democratic governor has some tricks up his sleeves, what is the real intention of letting convicted felons vote.

Now forgive me for being straight forward but men and women who have broken the law and been convicted should not have the right to vote. In our form of government, we give you a chance. We allow you to screw up a few times. No one is perfect and everyone understand that. Yet if you are a convicted felon and you have chosen to go against the laws and regulations that have been set down by our government, why would you be granted with a choice to be a part of that government? Why would we allow people, who clearly have no respect for the government be allowed to partake in it?

The thought that is on everyone's mind, is did the governor of Virginia pass this bill to fill Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton's ballot with more voters? The race between Hillary and Bernie has been a close call throughout most of the primaries, and an extra 200,000 votes would definetly put her in the winning.

Virginia is one of 10 states that doesn't allow voting rights to be reenstated after a felony sentence is served, there is an interview process that is done with the indivudal and the government to see if they are now fit to vote. Yet, this new bill that was passed by Virginia will now allow convicts of violent crimes to partake in the voting process.

The comments have been flying like arrows that this years voting system has been rigged and manipulated, and now with a the Virginia govenor fighting to get convicted felons the right to vote, it looks like that is becoming truer and truer as these campaign trail on.

I believe that human rights are a very important thing, especially in a country that prides itself in freedom, yet there should be restrictions. After the convicted mass murdere in Norway sued the government for violating his human rights, he was awarded with video games, television, a three cell block to himself. Yet he is a convicted murderer, he brutally killed something like 77 people. He has lost his right to human rights. He took away 77 peoples rights, he took their lifes. Yet he has the gaul to complain about his human rights, that to me, is extremely hypocritical.

I remember growing up and sitting at the dinner table, if I didn't want what my mom had made for dinner, I didn't eat. It was as simple as that. If people in our society don't want to follow the rules that have been laid down, they shouldn't be allowed to participate in them. We are the role model for a lot of different countries, even now our President is flying to the UK to give his “opinion” on a vote to leave the European Union (don't even get me started on that). We need to be extremely careful with what it is we allow and don't allow.

It seems to me that each candidate in this years election period, Trump, Clinton, Cruz, Sanders, Kasich, all of them have been doing whatever it takes to get the votes they need. The election should be about who is best for the country, not who can swindle their way into more votes. I'm sure we will be seeing the same kind of tatcic coming from Sanders soon. Let's see who these 200,000 felons will vote for in November.
