Actress Debra Messing recently shared a video criticizing President Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. She “questioned whether or not the president’s supporters will turn on him as the death toll rises,” reported Fox News.
On Twitter, she shared a video of recent interviews where Trump appears to downplay the threat of the virus. “LIAR-IN-CHIEF,” Messing said. “#Maga have been unmoved by the 16500 lies 45 has made since elected. Now that innumerable people (including MAGA) will die, because of his lies and inaction, I wonder if MAGA will recognize that 45 must be voted out?”

It’s not just Messing who has been criticizing Trump about his alleged downplaying of the virus. Many others in Hollywood in politics have done so as Trump seems to downplay the severity of the virus as cases poured into the U.S. In the video that Messing shared, we could hear sound bites of Trump saying things like, “We have it totally under control.”
“Messing is among the many celebrities who have taken to social media to criticize Trump for the way he’s handled the outbreak so far as well as to warn followers of the dangers about the rapidly spreading sickness,” reported Fox News.
