On Sunday, Portland demonstrators called Antifa targeted a Democratic campaign office. They shattered windows and spray-painted statements such as “F*** Biden” and “no presidents” on the building.

Fox News reported that several people met in Laurelhurst Park on Sunday evening and later marched north and gathered in front of the Multnomah County Democrats building.

Some members tagged the office with graffiti and broke out some windows, the Portland Police Bureau said.

Also, according to the police, the demonstrators quickly left and went back southbound toward Laurelhurst Park. Officers arrived at the scene and made targeted arrests of those who engaged in criminal activity.

The suspects, James Walker Prettyman, 24, Thomas Mollrocek, 33, and Maximillan Jennings, 22, were booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on criminal mischief charges, said Fox News.

RT also reported that Oregon Governor Kate Brown withdrew an executive order on Sunday “that called on State Police and the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office in Portland to take charge of the police response to expected violent protests in the wake of Tuesday’s presidential election.”

“Whether you voted for the current President or the President-elect, we are all Americans. As the election draws to a close, now the hard work begins. In Oregon, we talk about our differences, and we overcome them,” Brown said in a press release dated November 8th. “We help our neighbors in times of need. That's how we are going to beat this pandemic, to fight for racial justice, and begin the process to heal the divisions in our nation,” he also said.
