On Thursday, disgraced former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo was charged with groping one of his former aides in the Executive Mansion in Albany. This could send him to prison for a year if his conviction pushes through.

According to a NY Post report, a misdemeanor criminal complaint against the ex-governor was filed in Albany City Court. It claims that Cuomo, 63, had intentionally and forcibly placed “his hand under the blouse shirt of the victim … and onto her intimate body part.” without any legitimate reason or purpose.

The complaint went on to say that specifically, the disgraced governor placed his hand on the victim’s “left breast for the purposes of degrading and satisfying his sexual desire.”

The said incident allegedly happened on Dec. 7 in the afternoon. It took place on the second floor of the Executive Mansion, which is the governor’s official place of residence.

The alleged victim’s name was left out of the complaint. However, the lawyer of Brittany Commisso, 33, a former aide of Cuomo’s, acknowledged that the victim is her.

The filed complaint charges the ex-governor with forcible touching. This has a maximum sentence of one year of jail time.
