Wow: Bezos and Gates Scream for Climate Change from Private Jets and Yachts
Leftist elites such as Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos may go on prattling about the many dangers climate change brings about, but their recent actions just showed how hypocritical they really are.
According to a Times report, the two have been called “hypocrites” for urging people to act on climate change while allegedly partying on a huge yacht at a closed bay in Turkey.
Gates, who co-founded Microsoft, was seen celebrating his 66th birthday with 50 guests, including Amazon founder Bezos, last week, per a report by Daily Sabah, a news website in Turkey. Gates reportedly rented a large, 107-meter yacht for over €1 million a week.
Additionally, per an NBC report, Gates and all of his guests reached the carbon-belching water vessel via helicopter and speed boat.
Bezos also later traveled back to his own yacht in G Gökova on a helicopter.
Many know helicopters produce a large amount of carbon dioxide and are significant sources of air pollution, per Vertical.
Also, yachts are also the least environmentally-friendly assets around, and they are likely worse than helicopters.
Given this, people online were quick to criticize and call out the hypocrisy of these elites who travel on private jets.
