Gay Texas Pastor Confessed His Lies About Whole Foods
The openly gay pastor from Austin, Tx who sued Whole Foods for writing an anti-gay slur on his cake dropped his lawsuit and apologized to the company.
Whole Foods accepted the apology and dropped their counter-suit against Jordon Brown as well.
Brown drew national media last month when he sued Whole Foods for writing “Love Wins Fag” on his cake that was supposed to say “Love Wins”
Whole Foods immediately denied the claim saying that the baker who made the cake was an active member of the LGBT community and that they had video proof that the cake was correct when he checked out with it.
Jordon Brown is the pastor of the non-denominational Chruch of Open Doors in Austin, Texas. He has not said why he made the false claims or why he felt the need to target the national grocery store chain.
This story received huge amounts of national coverage when it first broke last month, but in typical form, has received very little since the apology. It is further proof about how the news can drag someone through the mud for being simply accused and then bury any story about their innocence.
Whole Foods graciously dropped their counter-suit, but will undoubtedly lose millions in lost sales nationwide by people who still think they did this.
