Gun-Carrying 78 Year Old Woman Protects Her Life

NEWNAN, Ga. – Authorities in Georgia say a gun-toting 78-year-old woman chased two burglars from her home.
Coweta County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Col. James Yarbrough tells news outlets Elaine Stiehl was getting ready to take a nap when she heard a noise coming from the front of her house. Deputies say Stiehl loaded a pistol and found two men inside her home.
Yarbrough says the suspects, 44-year-old Thomas Linder and 32-year-old John O'Neal, ran outside and got into an SUV driven by 49-year-old Anne Dearman. Deputies were able to find the three suspects traveling on Interstate 85 and charged them with burglary.
Investigators say they found two guns inside the vehicle as well as an assortment of power tools and fur coats. It's unclear whether the suspects have attorneys.

I believe this to be a perfect example why supporting the 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms is so important. Without a firearm it is entirely possible that the thieves inside her house could have simply overpowered and assaulted this 78 year old women into submission. We all must remember that when the gun grabbers spout their nonsense about gun-control ask them what would they have done or better yet have told their grandma or sister ect. to do when caught in the face of a felonious crime like this?
