We Need More Honest Gun Toting Homeowners

Police said a 73-year-old St. Louis man was in his garage Tuesday afternoon when a pair of armed men approached him, KSDK-TV reported.
One of them put a gun to the homeowner’s head and ordered him to back up, police said.
But at that point the homeowner pulled his own gun from his pocket and shot both intruders, police said, adding that they were after the homeowner’s vehicle.
Jonathan Warren, 18, of Florissant and Lonnie Middlebrook, 20, of Ferguson were pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting, KDSK said.
Authorities said Warren’s gun was reported stolen Oct. 30 by Florissant Police, KMOV reported. Both intruder’s were armed, the station added.
A neighbor of the homeowner said he and his wife are well liked.
“You just kind of see them come and go … when the weather was nice, they were out,” Kim Bryant told KMOV. “They are nice people.”
KDSK said homicide detectives are investigating and police indicated it looks like a case of self-defense.

I can’t carry a cop, so I carry a gun. THAT’S where most citizens are at. Even we could carry a cop, there aren’t enough of them to go around and they don’t shoot that we’ll anyway.

It’s a dangerous world and I have a constitutional right to protect home, family and self.
Police can’t be everywhere. Sometimes a person must protect himself and his property.
If more legal gun owners and carriers would speak up, tjwn more would know that far more are doing this legally than illegal and we are responsible gun owners. Also, I believe with very few exceptions the mass shootings in the U.S. Have happened in so called gun free zones. Investigations after some mass shootings have shown targets chosen because the were gun free.
Also, there are more stabbings but no one discusses keeping knives away from felons and such.
Finally, tje constitution gives us this roght same as freedom of speech. The nedia will fight against limiting free speech without difficulty but mention the second amendment and they forget it’s just like the first….it was not written just for personal protection and hunting, but as it states…a need for a well-armed militia to protect their towns, cities, etc from unjust powers including our own governments.

The media will only fight for their own free speech. The rest of us are supposed to shut up and just listen and do what they tell us we should do.
Because you never know when you will need to protect yourself, a family member, a neighbor, a friend or simply a person on the street or in a store. Be prepared at all times!
Remove the brutal criminal element that attempts to harm ourselves, our family, friends, children or steal our what belongs to us. To do what the ever growing liberal courts fail to do. Protect the innocent and punish the criminal.

The 2nd amendment was passed for more than one reason. One us to protect family and friends against the criminal element out there another reason is showing its head right now. It’s to protect the people from there government over reach and control of the people. This is a Democracy were the people are in charge not the government

Because criminals do not follow laws. Our police can not keep up with crime in our country. And because our government should never ever have guns if our citizens do not! Our government Already has grown too big and has too much power over we the people it’s time we the people took it back!!

Everyone needs to take classes and instruction in properly and safely handling firearms, then everyone needs to protect themselves, their families, and their property with the appropriate guns. PREVENTION THROUGH PROTECTION. WE MUST TAKE CHARGE AND PROTECT OURSELVES.

Just look at the statistics for Kennesaw Georgia when they enacted their gun law. Your choice,carry open or concealed but crime statistics dropped. You are less likely to attempt something illegal when you know carrying a gun is encouraged.
Too many bad folks out there, you can’t depend on law enforcement to protect you- so you need to be able to protect yourself.
If it comes down to the survival of me and my family versus the lives of any who might cause us harm, I hope it never happens, but I intend to be the one who sees the new day, not some home invader or addict looking to get their fix by harming me.
Face the facts- no matter how well intentioned the “Thin Blue Line” is, they can’t be everywhere at once. By the timme they are able to respond to a 911 call, you and your family may be dead, or seriously injured. The only real logic is to be prepared to defend yourself, trained, and prepared for the worst case scenario you hope will never happen.
