It seems that Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) has had a meeting with Donald Trump or as he called it, ” a getting-to-know-one-another session.” Although he said he had no reason to suspect that he was being considered for Trump’s VP candidate, he also didn’t deny whether or not he would be working on Trump’s cabinet.
“I have no reason whatsoever to think that I am being considered.” Those were the comments that Corker had to say outside Trump Towers.
“This was a meeting between two people who didn’t know each other except over phone calls, getting to know one another.”
Trump has been known to have “secret” meetings, most of them happen inside Trump Towers in New York. There is a kind of secrecy to Trump, he likes to have his dealings away from the public eye, and for someone who has no problem talking, or expressing his opinions to the public, it seems strange that he would be so private about his meetings. Corker also said that they talked about Russia and China and that Corker believes that allies and enemies are starting to notice the rise of Donald Trump. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Editor's Quiz: [Yes or No]Are Biden's Socialist Policies BAD for America?
The last thing we need in the oval office is an over paranoid president.
“The fact that he’s challenging so many status quo; he’s causing these countries to think a little bit differently about the U.S. I say that in a positive way,” Corker said. I guess that answers our questions. Yet, for the enemies of the United States, if it is a good thing that Trump is challenging the status ques of the government, wouldn’t that be a bad thing? If another country is only interested in your harm and then all of a sudden starts to enjoy the rise of a political figure inside the United States wouldn’t that give us cause for worry?
Either way, Corker does fit the political figure that Trump is looking for in a Vice President. Neither of the men is willing to comment or confirm, but knowing Trump his announcement will be a glorious grandstand that no one will want to miss.
