Joy Behar, co-host of “View,” criticized Facebook as she discussed its alleged dangers with her colleagues. She slammed the social media platform for not censoring false content from political campaigns.

In response to Sacha Baron Cohen's statement that the social media giant’s political ad rules “would have allowed Hitler to post ‘30-second ads on his solution to the Jewish problem,’” Behar said, “I think Facebook would give Hitler his own fan page.” It seems that Behar agrees that Facebook posed a danger in politics. Cohen also mentioned a hypothetical situation about how much more dangerous Hitler would have been if Facebook spread his ideas.

On the other hand, co-host Abby Huntsman said she normally erred on the side of free speech and said that Cohen’s comparison to Hitler was “a bit extreme.” She argued that “we should ‘allow everyone to speak’ even if it could be ‘ugly’ at times,” as reported by Washington Examiner.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren showed that Facebook “easily accepted false content intentionally submitted by her campaign.” She announced that they submitted an ad that claimed that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg endorsed Trump's re-election. Facebook defended its stance on not censoring political speech. According to a spokesperson, “Facebook believes political speech should be protected. If Senator Warren wants to say things she knows to be untrue, we believe Facebook should not be in the position of censoring that speech.”
