McConnell Will Sabotage Trump’s Presidency

(NPR) At the end of October, Donald Trump spoke in Gettysburg, Pa., and released a plan for his first 100 days in office.
The plan (below) outlines three main areas of focus: cleaning up Washington, including by imposing term limits on Congress; protecting American workers; and restoring rule of law. He also laid out his plan for working with Congress to introduce 10 pieces of legislation that would repeal Obamacare, fund the construction of a wall at the Southern border (with a provision that Mexico would reimburse the U.S.), encourage infrastructure investment, rebuild military bases, promote school choice and more.
On Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell mostly made nice with Trump but also shot down or expressed little enthusiasm in some of his plans. On Trump’s proposal to impose term limits on Congress, McConnell said, “It will not be on the agenda in the Senate.” McConnell has been a long-standing opponent of term limits, as NPR’s Susan Davis reports. “I would say we have term limits now — they’re called elections.”
McConnell also threw some cold water on Trump’s infrastructure plans, calling it not a top priority.

I am in total agreement that McConnell has NOT been a true “Representative of the people” on many an issue. But this time, we have already sent him, and the rest of his crony gems, a message. They have ONE CHANCE to clean up their act, or this time, the public is NOT playing around, we will use our power of impeachment, and take him out of that fluff comfortable position he has. This is something that up until now, Americans have not made much use of, but has always been available to us. It’s not even that hard to accomplish.
I would recommend We (you and myself) start the ball rolling, by sending McConnell a letter, explaining this to him. “Put him on notice” so to speak. I Know I will be doing so, and I would love to have your efforts backing my efforts up. So don’t hesitate. Go to bat for the American People, as well as yourself!!!

While McConnell is against term limits (to protect his own “professional politician” job), the American People have BEEN calling for this for a LONG TIME. It’s ONE of the reasons Pres Elect D Trump was elected. If McConnell Doesn’t capitulate, then we are going to impeach McConnell. End of Story.
