MSNBC’s Morning Joe is outraged when they hear what President Obama says concerning Hillary Clinton’s email investigation. They slam the president for his interference and assertions on the case and you know that MSNBC doesn’t side against Obama very often.
Joe Scarborough is livid with what he watched Obama say. After stating that he won’t talk to the attorney general about the case, Obama does exactly that. Obama states on national television that national security wasn’t jeopardized, undermining the finding of the MASSIVE FBI investigation that is taking place. As the group points out, Obama shouldn’t even have the facts of the case, let alone comment on them.
Even if they FBI finds that what he said was correct, that no national security was jeopardized by Hillary’s careless actions, he will still have added a cloud to the investigation’s findings that reeks of cronyism.
However, the real point of the interview seemed to be Obama giving assurances and support to Hillary Clinton as she struggles to defeat Bernie Sanders. She has failed to stop him in 7 of the last 8 contests and she clearly needed the support from the big man himself. Obama swept in, declared her innocent and offered her support on national television. Sounds rigged to me.
It also sounds rigged to the panel of Morning Joe. According to Scarborough, if a reporter had leaked emails in the same fashion that Hillary did, under Obama, he would be in jail. In his own words, “under this president… That reporter would be in jail.” He’s not wrong, no president has done more to stamp out the freedom of press then President Obama. “This is a rigged system,” the words of the day.
